The camp theme “Then – now – and beyond”

Then … In the year 1910, the first scout group was founded in Austria and the world’s most successful youth organisation found its place in the heart of Europe.

Now … There are more than 85.000 boys and girls in 300 scout groups all over Austria. 500,000 guides and scouts have been part of the Austrian Scout Movement so far… or still are. Once a scout, always a scout!

Beyond … Through social understanding, a respectful attitude towards other people and their cultures, taking part in the community and living in harmony with nature, children and young adults shall find the way to their inner self.
